How do we work?
CWW is a trauma-focused private practice incubator. All clinicians act under the supervision of our clinical director, and receive specialized guidance toward competency as an integrative therapist in complex trauma, developmental trauma, and other forms of distress.
We focus on the power of human connection, with evidence-based practice to help your body heal naturally from psychological wounds.
We are guided by the knowledge and constant learning which comes from understanding the nervous system through the Polyvagal Theory, and it's applications with the range of attachment-focused trauma therapies offered by our clinicians.
In the words of one client following a psychotherapy intensive: "I have been suffering from these (traumas) for my whole life - in talk therapy for 15 years. Now it's as if they no longer matter. I am feeling free for the first time in my adult life."
Along with traditional talk therapies, many CWW clinicians are trained in research-based body-based therapies for trauma such as Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (aka Standard EMDR) & Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR), inner child work (Comprehensive Resource Model, Ego State Therapy), and various somatic therapies.
As a program of Seiyu Institute for Health & Training, CWW has facilitated thousands of hours of psychotherapy for all things that may result from trauma (including anxiety, phobias, work and school performance, chronic pain, sustaining recovery from addiction, and more).
We hope to be able to help you as well. If you are interested in working together, please send us an email to get started.
